Hi, this is my first post here. But I need help regarding a friend.
I started a casual friendship with these 2 girls and we are became real good friends fast.
One of them (J) is nice and sweet and all around nice to hang out. But in these last few months I found out that J is a lil’ slutty. Normally I wouldn’t care it’s her life and she can do whatever the hell she wants.
Why do I care? Well for some reason she started to look up to me (I got quite a lot accomplished in life really young). And for that she started to confide in me, look up to me as an example and ask for advice.
Her boyfriend is an ass (she went to a party in his house and he locked her in his room and only came back at 4 am, saying the “environment” was not for her). I told her that kind of behavior is a clear warning for the future and to be careful. I also told her that maybe she deserves something better. This guy just gets worse and worse… the things he does…..
She agreed but stayed with him and now she has been telling me these crazy stories of when she was single, like when she hooked up with a guy at a party and never saw him again and DIDN’T use a !!! She likes and takes it lightly. And apparently it’s a miracle she never got pregnant (her words).
And it’s really estrange like she’s 2 different people. One that I know and have fun with and most of every one cares for and a another one that when it comes to and relationships that’s whatever its available no matter how bad it is. She doesn’t even understand that it may be bad for her.
How can I help her see that she has a destructive behavior?
