Love and Jelousy

I am very in love with my girlfriend but my jelousy is causeing alot of problems.I have been cheated on in the past and feel like my past is interfering in this relationship.I would just like to know how to let go of the past and be happy with the person I am with now.

Letting go of past hurts is hard but that's what you need to do.

Every relationship is it's own entity. You can take past lessons learned and apply them to the relationship at present but you can't treat them as the same.

It all comes down to trust. Either you trust each other or you don't. You have to be honest while you're dating and tell your partner that you're going to be true to this relationship and that you expect the same. Tell them that you're an adult and if they lose interest in you and they want to date others, to just come out and say so. That they don't need to cheat.

If you're married, hopefully you've moved past the trusting part and you don't have to worry.
