i'd like to thank faol...for the advice...but i have one more problem...the girl i asked out said yes yesterday and now changed her mind!...i am having trouble making her laugh....today she was so depressed at skool it wasn't funny but i feel real sorry for her...i have liked her for almost 2 years now (after i broke up with my ex, well when she went to nsw) ....usually like 6 times an hour i make her laugh...her name is meghan and her friends were gelouse when i asked her out...maybe that was it please if u have any suggestions please reply...

If you read my problem you'll see it's similarities. Girls are acting differently according to their age. I am over 20 years old, but not very expirienced, just honest. If she asked you out, then she want's you but she is still cautious. She probablly doesn't know if you have set her some kind of prank or something. You must proove her that you really care. It means that sometimes you'll have to act much serious than you are, stand up for her. Relax, if she doesn't call, you call her (wait day or two) and tell her that you have been thinking about her, however don't be too open with showing your emotions, it would be a sign of weakness. And offcourse my friend, if she is depressed, ask her what's the matter and try to solidarise with her, she should see that you care.
My oppinion is that she lives in doubt about you, but maybe she has bigger problem at home, ask her to go with you to a picnic or luna-park (same afternoon) so she could forget problems and feel better with you.

;) Girls like me but.... maybe ...I'm rather the kind of guy that mothers would wish for their daughters (good husband). I'm not like Casanova... I'm just the nice man from neigbourhood :)

One more tip: you mentioned that she has 'slaves', well, if she listens their advisory, then you have a huge plus. It's an old trick, pick (m)any of her friends, when she is with them, not alone, and give a compliment, but be careful, you don't want to make her (meg) jealous. Her girl-friend can be ugly as baby hippo but she will be delighted and speak nice about you. Make a good image about yourself.
