I'm confused

Hey,
I have been dating this guy just shy of 2 months. Long story short, we met in hs, he was a friend of my brother. He liked me but I wasn't sure. I graduated a yr before he did, I hadn't seen him since. About six months ago he looked me up online and we started talking and then almost two months ago we started dating. I'm flying over to Vegas ( he's stationed in the AF there) for New Years to meet him. Any hints on how to make this go smoothly? I'm really scared. I don't have a good track record with men and I don't want to screw this one up. Like do I play things smoothly or...? I mean I'd walk up to him and kiss him when I said hello, not too steamy but enough to let him know how much I wanted to see him.

We can try to guide you on what you should do but you need to prepare that the plan may/will change once you see him. You're probably scared because you are very excited deep down on meeting him. I see no issues on you giving him a hug or maybe a peck on the cheek when you both meet but you better know your position (based on you conversations with him) than we do. My best suggestion at this point is for you to go with the flow and try not to over plan for anything(that may calm you down some).

By all means, run up and hug him, tell him how good it is to see him - and also tell him, maybe not immediately, you know, that you feel a bit awkward and unsure. Honesty and being forthright in this instance will help, because I'd be willing to bet he's going to feel that same excitement and trepidation you are!
