Yep. The job search is on. I posted my resume at a job hunting site and might move to whereever the job is, but in advertising, I might not have to move, just email my work. Here's one of the sample ads that I put in the resume. I'm posting it here because it's pretty funny. It follows the "create controversy to generate interest in the product" strategy, but may be too far over the line to use.
Radio Ad for barbecue sauce.
Voice of Tom Bodet:
"Have you ever noticed how many things just aren't what they're supposed to be? For example, once the government declares war on something, you should write it off as a lost cause, the police serve and protect rich criminals and if you had a dollar for every Heisman trophy winner who didn't make it in the pros, you could treat your wife and mistress to dinner. However, we suggest that you take them out separately. But with Diablo's Honey Barbecue Sauce, you get what you pay for: a damn good sauce at a reasonable price. Diablo's: You'll find a politician in Heaven before you find a better sauce."
