need help and advice with problem

man i have this problem with starting relationships where i'm scared to approach girls and scared of rejection. and when i get in the door somehow meeting the female and it's like i can't talk or don't know what to talk about. its like my mind goes blank and no convo is started and i have like so much stuff racing through my head. knowing me i am an only child and never had a big bro to give me advice and me and my dad just don't cliq on that type of level so im just left out there to experiment

I was an only child in the house too. I do think that makes it a bit tougher because only child generally seem to be a bit more shy.

Girls like it when guys approch them, well most of them. THey like someone who is confident in themselves. They wouldn't be going out with you or meeting you if they didn't like you to some degree, so by that time you are already past the hardest part.

Just be yourself. Don't try and put on an act or try to act like someone your not. Talk to her like you would any other person.

Talk about whether, holidays, how you met, work/school, ask her questions to get the ball rolling. Ask about family, friends, etc.

Once you get to know someone a bit more, you will get more comfortable around them. ;)

I feel you here....You are scared in many ways. One way could also be the fact that you are afraid to say something stupid. As professional ball players say "practice makes perfect".


The only real true way is to try to keep talking to women when you go out. Start out with "hello" and roll from there. Saying "Hi" can get you very far in a lot of cases. I know you never had that role model to teach you and thats why you need to start taking matters in you own hands. Another thing to try is maybe a public speech class. It sounds odd but it has been proven to help people get more than "hi" out.

I know words are easy to say and action is actually harder to take but you need to do something about it or it will continue to be this hard. The power is within you. If you have to write down a few notes with questions you like to ask the person and if you draw a blank then dig in you pocket for them.
