Ok I am not a professional at relationships and I really don't believe anyone is. I hope everything I am about to say makes sense to someone.
We will call this one the "Charmer, Lover, and the Charming Lover."
The Charmer:
I put the charmer in the same category as the playa. This guy will tell you everything that you want to hear. Everything you like he likes, everything you want he wants etc... This guy will tell you anything to melt you into his plan and after boooom he is gone. These guys don't sit on the bench when the girls come out on the field. You can find these guys at bars, clubs, parties and on the dance floor.
The Lover:
These guys are going to tell you stuff you don't want to here because they are honest and bold. They may not be prince charming but they will make sure you are taken care of and are generally committed. It's a 50/50 shot with these guys. You can find these guys at your local mechanics shop, on the farm, and at a parts store or maybe just watching the game at the bar.
The Charming Lover:
I know this one the best and that is because I put myself into this category. These are the guys that are not always the first to approach someone they are interested in. They know that there are plenty of fish in the sea and wait for the right girl to come along. They speak from the heart and speak the truth. They don't mold their interests around yours and sometimes can seem a bit uninterested in you. They are the most committed and loyal as they come. No, they are not perfect but who is. These guys don't want girls to think they are the coolest thing that ever came along they want a girl that connects with them on a deeper level. These guys will listen to you so they can guage you and figure out what matters to you most and if it interests them them they will open up. These guys want to find their girls in their natural setting, in the park, at the store, library, and just places were people are being their selves.
I am not saying that you won't strike out I am just trying to point good women in a good direction.
Also, don't judge someone because they have a one night stand.
Example. I am a committed person but recently since I have been single I have found that a little in the middle is ok as long as you aren't hurting someone else.
Lets say tonight i feel like I just need to get it on or something. Being a nice guy I am not going to go out and find a girl that is looking for something serious and lie to her just to get her in bed. I will stay clear of those girls and find someone who just isn't looking for anything more then I am willing to give and most importantly be sure we are equally understanding of the situation (pref. no alcohol involved).
Tommorrow if I run into that special girl while buying groceries, then I am ready to give it all my charm, love, committment, and loyalty, etc... to begin building something wonderful and strong until death do us part.
