lost and need to be found

I am a single man... unfortuantely i am also in a hell called iraq. The only thing that used to keep me going was my fiancee.. and she has left me. I have 3 montsh left and even though i will be going home and leaving the military... lonliness is starting to scare me. right now i just need people to talk to. But hopefully there is someone out there who can help me avoid all the lonliness.I'm 22 years old and from texas. I am into sports, games, and driving around aimlessly.

thank you for your kind words. I tried to talk to her about it and all she would tell me is that she couldnt go through the waiting for me to get back anymore... i have been gone for 10 months, 9 montsh at the time she told me this and i couldnt figure out why... i only had 3 months to go when she said this... which leads me to believe that she is simply finding an excuse to leave me so she doesnt look like a bad person so she doesnt have to hide her unfaithfulness. But either way she has lost me forever and im done with her.... i am not even going to try to get her back. I just want to go home and move on now.

Good for you. That is the best attitude that you can have. It does seem a bit odd that she waited that long and couldn't wait another 3 months. Being your financee, it should be expected that she would be counting down the days until then.

Hopefully by the time that you get back this will have sunken in a bit more, and you will be ready to come home and move on. It wil help that you don't have to see her, or run into her anywhere considering you are on the other side of the world.

Keep telling yourself that it happened for the best and that you will make it through. THere is someone out there who would wait for you as long as it took. My dear, you are defending your country, she should be proud.
