Helping raise other's children is one of your life's goals. If he can't support you in what you truly believe in, then what's the point of having a future with this guy. Things are OK now because you haven't really started to share your lives together..like being married. There will only be bitterness between you two if you both can't agree on things. It's better to figure it out now than later in a failed marriage.
