Girlfriend Problems!! help please!!

We have been going out for almost 2 years

we have been through so much together and I felt like we were made for eachother, and I know she felt the same way. And even all of our friends think we're perfect for eachother.

She recently found out another guy liked her, and then she got really weird, and seemed to like me less and less, and this other guy more and more.

Yesterday she finally confessed to me that she likes this guy, but still likes me and she thinks it might be a phase she's going through since she's all stressed out with school and stuff, and is just confused because this is the first guy that she new liked her since her and I started dating. I know for sure she hasn't cheated on me because he doesn't even know she likes him and he would never cheat on me.

So should I break up with her? should I wait it out?
I've had other girlfriends, but I never got along with them, I've never got along with any other girls.
I really don't wanna lose her, this whole thing is killing me.

She's finding it quite flattering that this guy likes her...now she's thinking that the grass maybe greener on the other side. If she's starting to give you too much grief then yes dump her......If she's thinking about this this guy that's no respect for you. Obviously she doesn't feel the same way for you as you do for her. That sucks, but it happens.

Well I DID decide not to break up with her and see what happenned.

I was driving home from work tonight and saw her at the guys house, giving him a goodnight kiss.

Sooooo I called her, broke up with her, she cried alot and I was too shocked to cry, I can't sleep right now, I want to sleep and just forget it all but I can't stop thinking and can barely shut my eyes for a minute.

this really stinks, hopefully I can get over her soon. I can't believe this all happenned, it is such a huge shock. She's never done anything close to this before, everything was going perfect until this started happenning, and now it's over....

Yeah, we are actually going to go out for lunch today and talk about things. I'm glad because I really didn't want it to be something where I hate her for cheating and she hates me for hating her and we try to avoid eachother and our friends have to choose sides.
I hope we can still be good friends though, I don't want things to be akward.

She was from California so when I went there for some down time, we met up and I could tell that we really liked each other spot on. 2 weeks after and she tells me she didn't really know how she felt for me and that she might've just been flattered with all the attention I had given her.

I mean it does sound crappy but let's face it. Women like being pampered, being thought of, cared for, etc. And all that can fool her into thinking she must like the other person. So anyway, not to make this long but just chill, man. It happens.

I got tired of it so I let it go only to hear one of his messages for her on her cellphone. It was her childhood "friend." Whatever. He can play in-laws with her deranged mother for all I care.

Life's too short and there's plenty of fish out there.
