Hey All,
I really need some help on this one...I started dating this girl who my friends kind of set up me up with...well really the girl contacted me first. We started dating things went great for about 4 weeks then all of sudden she came over one night about 3 and a half weeks ago and I have not been on a date with her since. We have been calling and still talking she has been calling me and vice versa. I went to see her perform one day and I met her parents. After the performance I asked her that we get together the next week. She said we will. Well, a few days later I called her asked if we were getting together and she said probably....I was like do you have any idea what day??? She was like well Thursday Night I'm going out with my friends to do some last minute christmas shopping, I am off wednesday, but going to church wednesday night until about 7 or so. So that meant to me after 7 she would be available to come over. So I asked her to come over she said ok....I went out got her a nice christmas gift planned a romantic christmas evenining and she never showed up. I never recieved a phone call or anything. I waited till friday to call her I just knew it was over. I'm the type of person if it's over it's over don't talk to me anymore so I called her to be sure. She answered the phone I asked her what happened she said she overslept(now granted she is a nurse ans she works 7 to 7 at night.) So, I kind of understand the possibility of oversleeping. I asked if we were stillseeing each other she said yeah....so I was like well I'm not feeling it...normally when I date someone I see them at least once a week. I have not seen you in like 3 weeks. I told her if she wanted to end let's do it now....she wouldn't have to ever worry about me again...So we talked a little more....she said she shuts off this time of year and she didn't realize it until recently....she said give her till after christmas to get her thoughts together....so I asked her so she doesn't know what she wants she said she knew what she wanted....anyway she said she still wanted it to be me and her. I asked her if we were seeing other people she said she wasn't seeing anyone else. Anyway, I hung up with her called her the next day and told her that I wanted to be me and her and she said that is whay she wanted too, but for some reason it didn't make me feel any better. She said she has a christmas gift to bring me....My question is ....Is there another guy? Or does she really need sometime? Or is she waiting to break it off with me face to face? When my friends got us together her mom told our mutual friends that she is real independant and that the last boyfriend she had called her all the time and just really pestered her and they broke up and he married a women with two kids. So do you guys think it's me that she wants or what? I just don't know what the heck is going on...I told her in the past that I just normally give up and she told me not to give up...I also told her that I was not mad just being honest and she told me that's what she wanted me to be. Does anyone have any advice?
