im moving to a place far away from him

hi. thank you for stopping by and taking time to read my post.

i need your help. me and my bf have been together for a little over 2 years now.. i love him so much, but now i have to move to a place which takes 18hours by plane to get there... my family wants me to be with them and migrate there.

my and my bf are hoping that he can go and be with me a year from now, since that's when he will graduate with his BS Degree..

i need a simple list of do's and dont's, pros and cons, or anything that is worth knowing about LDRs.. i know i will madly miss him when im there. how can i go through it? i dont want to be in a state of depression when i get there...

LDR's are typically a race against time. They have to get back together before one of them's patience runs out or the relationship is doomed. You two could do things like send each other things via snail mail and such. If things work out the way y'all are hoping, you know how long of a wait you have and it might work. Good luck.
