yea so for valentines day i got my girl friend a ring. it was very nice and very expensive and it was somethign she had wanted. so we exchange presents and she says she likes the ring but then says she felt it was too small and didnt have enough diamonds and felt it really didnt match the necklace i had gotten her a few months ago with the same design, so i ask her if she wants to return is and she says she likes it any way but just u know it could have been bigger and nicer. so am i wrong to interpret that as i like it but its not good enough, because thats the way it sounds to me. when she saw that it bothered me shes like " i cant tell u anything im just being honest". then she rolled over on the couch and went to sleep for 2 hrs woke up cranky and complained for another 1 1/2 hours then left and just may i mention no . for get the no thing that doesnt bother me just that the whole fact of completely not appreciating the gift i got her and telling it to me face and then rolling over and falling asleep. and also the roses i got her should have been pink she hates red. am i wrong to be pissed off and pretty much at my breaking point.

You know she could be considerate for the thought a least. She is a tough bargain and looking for more and wants to show off her diamonds. To be truethful there are plenty of ofther girls that are more respectful out there. In this case what I would do is just go return the ring for whatever and just come home with flowers. If she can't respect anything worth more than that then thats all she deserves.

Yeah....I'd be pissed off and bothered too!

Seems like your GF is materialistic. She should have been appreciative of the gift and even if she didn't like it, she should not have said something.

You should have taken the ring back, returned it to the store and got your money back. Next time she gets squat! Let her see how getting nothing feels.

From a female perspective.... I agree completely with eightball and Rich! She was not very nice at all!

So, Ms. Inquisitive...not start a different thread here....but how was your Valentines day? Was cupid a bad boy and bring his handcuffs to bed? :-)
