Confused by this guy's behaviour

This guy i knew at school added my friend request on a social networking site, but i sent him a message asking how he was and what he was up to these days, and he didnt respond.I also left a comment on his page, as i mentioned i liked an actor he likes who he'd mentioned on his profile, and mentioned another actor i liked.So, it was all friendly conversation, but for some reason, he deleted my comment from his page !.It made me wonder why he bothered adding me.Very strange behaviour.

I should add, i liked him at school, and he knew then, i never found out whether he liked me or not, and it was a really long time ago.

Sorry in advance for the honesty but it seems he doesn't really care to hear from you nor your comments. He may have just added you as a friend because you just add another number to his friends list. You're just a number to him...nothing more.

I will tell you what he was like with me at school, if that helps.

At first he didnt know i liked him, and he used to come and sit with me when we had science class together.I was usually sat with a girl, and he would sit at another table at first, then after a while he came and sat opposite me on my table.He did this in every lesson.I remember another time when he was stood behind me and he kept pulling my hair gently.

Another time, he got told off and got told to go and stand outside the classroom by the teacher because he had come talking to me, i think he was being abit too loud, and he tried to blame me saying i had told him to come and talk to me, which i hadnt.

Another time, i was really upset because of something bad that had happened in class, and he kept teasing me about it.I was so angry, that i swore at him.I saw him round school a while later, he was stood with his friends and i was with mine.He walked away from our friends and put his arm round me and said he couldnt believe i had said that to him.I am usually quiet and polite and he hadnt seen that side of me before.He also had a photo of himself of when he was little and he said only i could see it and my friends couldnt.

Another time, we were sat in class at breaktime and he grabbed my schoolbag and ran round the classroom with it, and he took a schoolbook out of it and he said that it said i loved him on my book, which it didnt.

Another time he teased me by calling me by my full name, which i dont like.And once he was sat behind me and he leaned forward and kept pulling my chair back.

And, once there was a day where you are supposed to ask someone to marry you, not sure if you are supposed to ask someone seriously or as a joke,lol i'm not sure what day it was, i hadnt heard of it before, and he asked me to marry him !.

And i asked him if he wanted to go to the leavers party with me, which is for people leaving school, it's called prom in America, if any Americans are reading this, and he said aww, i'm sorry but i'm not going to it.

The last time we were in school together, we were sat next to each other in an exam,just before we sat down and were finding our seats, he shouted me and said hey you're sat over here next to me !,and he finished the test before me, and he kept staring at me.

Just after we left school my brother asked him out for me,but he said no.Another time after we left school, i saw him with some friends and one of his friends came up to me and asked if i would kiss him, as in a proper french kiss,the guy i'm talking about, but this guy said no it's not me who wants to do that it's my friend, that was another friend who was there.He was smiling and looked embarassed when he said that.They went away but then his friend came back to me and asked me again, and i said i would.His friend went running to him, and i waited a while to see if the guy would come to me, but he didnt.I only waited afew seconds though.I was worried incase it had been a joke, so i left.I wish i hadnt now and that i'd gone and spoken to him to see if it was true.

I saw him a couple more times after that but we only sad hi to each other.

I just thought that might better explain how he has been with me since i first met him.What do you think ?
