I'm now teasing her about her being too high maintence. I mean, damn, you 'bout need a medical degree to take care of that woman. But I suppose without her around, I wouldn't have anyone to yell at and pick on.

Hey Diablo,

How is she doing?

Diablo

Her hip is causing her problems. It's done this before and settled down. She also has issues with my habit of going for a late night drive. I'll just take off in the middle of the night; usually not having anywhere to go, just wanting to drive. 'Course, the oil companies may solve that problem for her as it'll be too expensive to do much. third issue for her is that she recently had a minor stroke. At first she didn't know who or where she was, but she started remembering some things the next day. I didn't want to take her to the hospital because I couldn't take her to the next town and the hospital here is going to court to keep their mortality rate from being published. If she gets her butt shot or something, I wouldn't have a choice, but if I have any inkling that I can handle it myself, I'll do that or take her to the next town. I won't take her to the local slaughterhouse that calls itself a hospital.

She seems to be getting back to normal.

Her hip is causing her problems.

What's wrong with her hip?

Diablo
04-13-2008, 01:47 PM
Where her left hip should be, there is no hip; just a girddlestone and her right hip is artificial. The artificial hip was meant to last approximately 10 years and was put in 20 years ago. It's hurting her and so is the girddlestone. Her not having a left hip lead to a joke that got me the evil eye.
So and so: "There ain't nothing halfa$$ about ________"
Me: "Except her a$$."

_________ gives me the evil eye.

Diablo

No. She can get in and out of a wheelchair, but that's about it.

Yep. And the medical community here has put her under a no further treatment order. Her bones are breaking apart on the inside and she can't get into a pain clinic.

I promised her husband before he died that I would take care of her. One day I'm going to show up in Hell and have some words with him about that promise. :D

With todays economy this proves Earth is hell. God gave us a test and those that don't pass stay here and haunt other people in their own homes.

I thought Heaven was a place on Earth just like Belinda Carlisle sang about.

That explains people telling me that I have a damn ghost in the house. But seriously, where you go from this life is determined by the things you do while you're here.

Diablo

Sick, but it's nothing she hasn't gone through before. I did a bad thing. I was in a facetious mood when she woke up and said "Good mornin' D*ckhead!" She gave me the evil eye.

Yeah Diablo, you should really follow Howards advice! He is too right man!

Diablo
04-24-2008, 07:11 PM
That's a problem for guys who like to bicker with a woman for fun. Most women take such things too personally and seriously. Sometimes she doesn't though. Depends on her mood. One time she made a comment about sweet tea being the wine of the south and I said, "Don't be ridiculous, everybody knows you're the whine of the south." She actually thought that one was funny, but she was in a good mood at the time.

Sometimes women take things too seriously for us guys to joke around. They could take it as offense and come back with a retort of their own.
