I'm not going to name these people, so don't ask, but someone I know has two friends who are on opposite sides of the drug war. One is an undercover agent and the other is a dealer. The third guy feels caught in the middle. I'm not sure what to say to him. Should I say anything at all?

The best this you can do as a friend is to be there for him in the time of need. Look after your well being too because you don't want to get to involved.

The only thing you can do now is to just console him in time of need.

Or I could walk up to the dealer during the portion of church service in which everyone wishes everybody around them peace and say "war". Wait a minute... I did that a while back. okay nevermind. ;)

How's everything going with your friend?

Going okay. I think his other two friends will leave him out of their despute. But he's the type who thinks he can rescue drug people. His staying out of trouble kinda depends on him not going too far helping the drug guy.

Sorry Howard. I wasn't supposed to be talking about this particular issue on the net or elsewhere, so I'll shut up about it now.

You're free to do whatever you want Howard. You should enjoy that for a while instead of trying to get another gf. Besides, it's like lost car keys; you can't find one when you're looking for one.

But what I really want is a long term relationship with a girl and I know that it takes a lot of hard work to make it stick.

Maybe I should enjoy my work at Pathmark right now and maybe later I'll think about it.

It's hard to find a gf when you're looking for one. If you blow it off and pursue things that don't require one, you may bump into a girl who would make a good one. Now's the time to pursue a hobby or something that you couldn't have before because of Robin. You could also go back to the same place you found Robin; that handicapped dating service. It worked for you before and maybe you could get one who wouldn't hound you to make more money. It's hard to get a good job with a disability. Maybe your next gf would be more understanding of that. Or you could find a bored, rich housewife who would pay you to be her toy. ;) That ain't an easy to get gig and a bit risky though.

Thanks Diablo,I always wanted a girlfriend for long term so I could leave the house, get a full time job and work a 40 hour week with lots of money, pay bills and good benefits.I don't know why Robin didn't understand that I haven't had a job in over a decade and I'm working my way up the ladder with now 2 jobs under my belt and that includes Au Bon Pain in October 2006 and now Pathmark,a year now which I'm very proud of.:)

BTW,It's called The Friendship Network where people with disabilities meet and greet for friendship, dating or romance.
