Venting on an ex...

After breaking up with my boyfriend I had so much to say. I wanted to tell him how much I hated him. How big of a loser he really was. The problem was I was so furious and crazy at the time that I couldn't verbally tell him to his face. After stumbling around the net for awhile I came across this site tomyex.com. It let me write and send in a letter that let me vent out everything on my mind. They're not gonna send it to him for me, but they're collecting and organizing stories and letters from people just like me. Thought it was cool.

FYI. After writing the letter, it gave me enough courage to tell everything to my ex's face. Felt really good.

It may have worked for you but I will add that some people never get the chance for closure and sometimes closure created more grief than it would have just keeping it in. How did he react to your words?

It feels good to get it out of your system and will lead to move on better but there are other ways to express rather than gut out an ex on how much they don't mean to you anymore. Writing has been always one of my favorites to get out anything in my mind. I am sure this site could be a good thing to get things out but I rather suggest to go out and by a journal to put those thoughts in. This site is just many out there that help make things be worse. Its just my persoanl opinion to the whole thing but I am glad to see it worked out for you.
