my mrs and I have been together for a year and a half now, however things have been a little bumpy over the last week, we havent been able to see each other for about 3 weeks now

any way things are pretty thin atm she says im being to intense and clingy were seeing each other this friday ive got a cool evening organised for us to just chill and relax

I need to get urgent tips on how I can beat this clingyness, like do i just needa be more confident? nd just let her come to me?
need help asap thanks in advanced

It's a strategy for guys when dating....playing it kool. Be a little distant, then give a little attention. Someone on here called it a balance act. I have to say ya it's true. So give some distance and she will come to you....just respond to her and her moves.

How can one be clingy when they havn't seen their partner in 3 weeks?

I'm think there is more to this on her part and just using this as an excuse...

Ya eightball has a point........you said things are kinda thin atm. And what do you mean by bumpy? Time to dig a little deeper into why she don't want your attention.

That's kinda like someone in a long distance relationship saying "I need space". It doesn't make sense. I agree there is probably more to this story than you are telling. I think we need more information.

Clinginess is usually rooted in a fear of the relationship not working out. What will help is the realization that most relationships are temporary and it will not kill you if this one doesn't last. Inner strength and confidence are things that have to come from within. Nobody else can help you much with those.
