I just saw this thread! lol I post here everyday too. Well, actually my situation is a bit better. I talked to my ex and we're going to be friends. He's with the woman he cheated on me with so there's not much I can do about that. Actually, there is but that's another story. ;) We agreed to see each other once a month starting in March and he called me March the 1st! I was surprised to say the least. He came by and we talked about stuff that went wrong and got it all out and basically forgave each other for all the stuff that's happened. Not total forgiveness but you know, we'll get there. I'd like for him to remain in my life as a friend because that's all we can be to each other...ever! It's sad at times but I'll be fine. I'm not happy about what's-her-face but hey, that's life. Thanks for asking for an update. I almost forgot about my own situation myself! lol

You see, by being active here you forgot about what happened or just moved on. Its great though that you can both continue a friendship but my only question is does his new partner know about this agreement? It would only be fair if she does. Just remember to keep things on the friendship line. If you notice conversations getting heavey about the past and you both get a little to comfortable then suggest backing off a bit till things cool off. Mantaining a frienship after a breakup is hard for many but it can be manage. I do thank you for posting the update and keep us informed if you wish....

Take care
Jeff
