ok to start. im 20 and im dating a 22 year old. we both go to the same school. we have been together 7 months. He is amazing. We are best friends. We spend almost everyday together when we are at school. He treats me so wonderfully and always tells me how beautiful I am and lets me know "im his girl" hes never once cheated on me, never given me any doubt that he loves me, sends me sweet text messages and calls me all the time. he goes out of his way to make me happy.
seems perfect right? well of course i would freak over everything. hes never officially asked me to be his gf. its just kind of happened. his family calls me his gf, yet when we meet people he doesnt say "this is my gf." he just says "this is hayden" i know we are at an age when saying gf-bf is a little immature...but still.
he invited me across the united states to spend 3 weeks with his family this summer. they call me his gf, so i guess i am.
he hasnt said i love you yet. but i guess it sometimes takes more time for others. but he says it with his actions. tells me im the best thing thats ever happened to him, plans months ahead, when we are away (currently hes away for 2 month for a job) he lets me know how much he misses me. he calls me "my love" "gorgeous" "my darling" all sorts of sweet things.
am i just crazy to think he isnt in it as much as i am just because he hasnt asked me officially to be his gf or said i love you?
he also had a gf for 4 years and they broke up about a year ago...could that have something to do with it?
i just dont know if i should say something to him or what...
