I have been with someone for 9 months and living with them for 5 months. We tell each other that we love one another. We have our ups and downs. In a letter he wrote to a family member (which he had me mail and told me I could read) it had this part in there " been living with this girl since Sept, it's ok, has its perks here and there" Well I have a problem with him saying this am I wrong?? He makes it sound like I mean nothing to him, well thats MHO. What do you think? would you be mad and hurt?

It was just a crappy choice of wording. He is updating his family with news about his life and describing his situation with you. He probably saw no harm with it since he emailed you it and allowed you to read. The other thing is he could also be hinting there is something he wants to talk about or just adjust. Tonight during dinner describe about how you felt on the wording. You dont have to pound it in but ask him if everything is ok with things and if not them you both can discuss it from there.

A lot of times a hate writing letters or emails that have to explain stuff because wording can easily get gumbled. A reader will take the words and think totally different to what the author meant by the reading. You just need to have this cleared up so you know things are truelly ok. The only way though in finding out is asking him how he feels.

Sometimes guys will down play something to guy friends or family members so that they don't come across as a "I'm head over heels in love" girlyman. :-)

I would more trust the feelings and vibes that you get when you're alone together and what is said then.
