I have a Fender Stratocaster (electric guitar) that makes occasional trips to the pawn shop due to bill juggling. I started telling her that it's her alarm clock. You can figure out the rest. I got it out of the pawn shop and woke her up with it. In other news, her foot's breaking, but it showed signs of going into remission today. I had a terrible cyst on my butt and couldn't sit. Walking was painful as hell. I finally handed my pocketknife to Nagzilla and told her to go to it. I'm feeling much better today. Anyway, I'm going to resume working through some blues instruction books. I'm going to bite the bullet and go through a rough month (I.e. not pawn the guitar later). I have a Marshall amplifier on layaway and should bring it home next month. I sound good with the songs I can play and I've trained my fingers, I just need to learn more songs.

Was the cyst on your tailbone? The cyst start with a "P" because I too had one there when I was a teen. Not a good place for a cyst I'd say...lol Glad to hear you're back ripping it up on the electric guitar :) What kind of Marshall did you buy? was it a practice amp or a half-stack? Half-stack would be one hell of an alarm clock..lol

No half stack. It's a 30 watt valvestate and can get me by for now. I intend to get a Peavy Valveking later for playing bars. Anyway, I have a drummer and a sax player, but the sax player is unreliable. It wouldn't ruin a gig for him not to show up; we'd just play a set that doesn't use a sax. I'm not really looking to play gigs just yet. Have to finish writing a couple of songs and learn more covers. Both the drummer and the sax player are squeamish about the name Damn Honkeys. Seems a mite stupid since that's what Africans call us anyway.
