Chances are that if someone leaves someone for someone else, that the feeling of the grass always being greener on the other side, will always exist.

I agree to the fact that you can't predict any outcome to any relationship. The only time you can predict is when the relationship is failing and there is no insight for things to get better. In that case I suggest you do the smart thing and move on. I am a firm believer on trying to make things work but after so many failing attempts then it be best to move on.

Phrases like "a cheater cheats once will cheat again" is an opinion phrase to me just like this one above. We all make mistakes and some learn from it while others don't. When a mistake is made though its hard to trust again. Now, if a partner left someone for you then you can't predict they may do the same. Its an opinion but not fully true. They could have left to seek better (because of abuse,cheating,ect) and you may be the better. The only way of really knowing is trying to make the relationship work and seeing what the future will bring.....point here is people make mistakes and some people learn from it while others don't.

It is not valid. Some time you get a wrong direction on the highway. Just go back one step and start again.
