Sis needs to get out of her situation!

My sis lives 4 states away. She been miserable for a couple of years now where she is. She's really smart but there are no jobs where she lives so she has to work as a secretary. Her husband is unemployed. I wish she'd move here where we could be together and she'd have a job but her hubby won't move away from his family (even though it keeps them miserable)...what the **^%$??? Anyway, should I try to be supportive of her staying there or should I continue to try to get her to move here?

Just be supportive and listen. As much as we'd all love to live our siblings lives for them sometimes, we can't. She needs to make decisions on her own and in her own time.

Just always be there for her and keep letting her know that. Don't throw fuel onto the fire either.

She has a job, maybe not the one she really wants but in this economy many people are in the same boat as she is with jobs. As far as her marriage, she is after all married and her first consideration should be to her husband, even if he is currently unemployed. It is maybe a good thing they are near family with him being out of work so I think you should just be supportive of her staying and not ask her to move near or in with you.
