Hi, I am new here and I would greatly appreciate your advice. I was going out with a guy for 2 & a half years. We were very much in love until he suddenly broke up with me. We are broken up for a 1 and 8 months but we still wish each other happy bday etc. However, I bumped into him a week ago and he tells me that he can't get over me, he cant be with anyone else, he still thinks about me & misses me terribly yet he doesnt know what his heart feels. I cant get over him either but he says he needs time to think about it. He has had nearly 2 yrs to think about it. Its driving me crazy because I want him back. Both our feelings are there but whats stopping it. We never cheated on each other. What should I do?

basically he doesn't want a relationship. While you're hanging on high hopes his words are guiding you in.

but why would he say such things? i dont understand how he can feel the way he does and not do anything about it.

If he truely wants you he will let you know...just make sure he's genuine so you don't get hurt even more
