Hi all...Just wondering or seeking some advice..My ex and I split up awhile ago (3 yrs) but remained mates...she says thats all she wants even though she knows I think the world of her (and her 5yr old son) and would have her back in a second. She allows me to take her son out places and to come round to see him at her place, as she knows we got on so well,and he loves to see me to. She treats me as a mate...until she has a few drinks then she comes out of her shell,shows me affection, flirty wee stuff nothing major, but we both can feel the connection..we share a real spark but shes afraid of it, hides behind a wall and told me so. I've tried telling her how I feel,would never leave her or hurt her (she also has M.S) and she says she wouldn't allow her illness to change my life. But at the same time values my friendship. When she ended things she said she had fallen in love with me...and that it wasn't meant to happen?? Any way I can get her to see how great we are together??....Ladies what you reckon to?

She only values a friendship. She allowed her feelings to explore and before they exploded she backed off. Respect her wishes and that a friendship is all she wants. If you push too far it will only push her back.
