I'm engaged to my partner who seems to act strange towards me at times. I don't know if its me or how I should deal with it. Today as an example she asked me if I wanted food. I said no thank you as I wasn't hungry. She said she wanted food as she felt she needed it. I accepted that. I did some washing up and helped her as far as my limited kitchen skills could. She asked me if I wanted food again, I said I was fine, but she proceeded to cook me chips and chicken, She then asked me if I wanted a fried egg, I said no thank you, she carried on cooking then she asked me again. She was expecting me to be eating food. I said I didn't want the egg again but she obviously wasn't listening to me. Then she put 4 plates of food in front of me and expected me to eat it. When I said again I was not hungry she had a go at me as to how I cant say no. I told her I said no many times, but she just wouldn't accept this. At the moment she is being cold with me, I don't know what to do. Is it something I have done?

Its either she is trying to have you go out Flowers in the Attic style or just trying to be nice by dealing with your attitude. If you're not hungry mention it however be open to taste her delicious meal she made just for you.

Tell her that there seems to be a communication issue between you two and that you need toget on the same page before you get married. Do this when you aren't fighting.

Explain to her that she had asked you a few times about the food and each time you said that you did not want any, but yet she still proceeded to cook you food. Ask her what she was hearing when she had asked you about the food, or if she just assumed and did not "hear" your response?

Find out what makes her tick and what her expectations are. You need to get to the bottom of what is going on in her head. Maybe she has bad hearing, or is deaf in one ear and can't hear you.
