not bad.Robin's doing pretty well.So far,we've been seeing each other for about 7 months now and it's not quite at the romantic stage just yet but hope to be there very soon.Next Sunday,her Mother invited me over for a Passover Seder at 4pm Sunday when it officially starts.I can't wait to meet her family then in a couple of weeks,I will return the favor and invite her over to my house to meet MY Family. :)

My day went pretty well.I feel I want to give up on programs all together but I know I can't feel discouraged to leave but I know I want to but I'm gonna stick it out for a couple of more months and see what happens.Since,I have no work experience and haven't worked since the days of Genovese in 1994 and had volunteered years after,I feel myself that I could fend on my own without anybody's help.I'm a 31 year old man and need to work it out by myself. :)

On August 8th,1994,I was fired from Genovese cause of my OCD compulsion to steal and I wound up being put on medication and also was put on SSI a year later.I volunteered for years after that and was going into programs that deal with people who need to/get back into the working world.most of the people that I saw over the years were basically low functioning mentally retarded people and that made me feel bad about myself that I was the more superior and I didn't even belong there.So,that's my story in a nutshell.

Yes I do.But,maybe I could use just a little help but not too much.Over the past 13 years,the programs that I've been to didn't meet up to what you expected them to do.They were too laxed in helping others.That's why I quit most of them and needed VESID's help to get me out cause I couldn't take it anymore.I was so depressed where my life was going at that time that I had no structure. :(

Well,I had my parents and most of my friends for basic support.My friend Robert who've I've known for almost 10 years gave me support and told me to leave one program cause he said those people are below you.

It was VESID who told me to try some of the programs but eventually they didn't help so this program(IPRT)which I attend now,I'll give this place till the end of September and see what happens from there.life just hasn't been fair to me over the years. :(

I just had a lot of insecurities......I have known this girl 2 years before we dated and she was the best thing that ever happened to me. I developed insecurities because I was a fraid to lose her but the way I was acting and treating her she would have left. I came to realize that I can't hold her down nor treat her the way I did. I needed to make a change and so I did. I will admit I still have my insecurities but I hold them back. She has insecurities also so we both work together so we both don't lose each other.

If you were in my shoes 8Ball,you'd feel pretty aukward being in a workshop with a bunch of mentally retarded or somewhat mentally retarded guys and girls who are mentally,physically and emotionally disturbed and that would make you pull your hair out for years on end.I was in this workshop in 1999 and this workshop was absolutely disgusting and filthy,the bathrooms had bugs and the supervisor treated the clients sometimes like little kids and I couldn't take that shit anymore :mad:So,I decided to leave and get the hell out of there before I become one of them. :( But anyway,I have this 3 strike rule that if this program I'm attending now(IPRT)doesn't work out and they don't seem to help me,I wanna go about it on my own.I'm capable of doing so. :)

Giving up hasn't helped anything so far because you are in the same place. All I am suggesting is to give the next class a chance and see what it help you personally rather than comparing yourself to others...the class is there to benefit you and help you to make a future for yourself.

OMG- it was fabulous. We all had a wonderful time! Well- there was the incident----dah dah dahnnn! Isn't there always "an incident"??? Two of my nephews were in the bat throwing darts apparently as hard as they could from one end of the bat to the other. Did you guys know that a dart can bust a water pipe? Well, we all learned that this weekend! My hubby and brother in law ended up having to spend a couple hours Sat night and Sunday morning fixing pipes. Also it isn't fun having a house full of people and having the water turned off..... BUT we just made the best of it. We played games with the kids and had little prizes!!! Lots of food and drinks!!!!! What more could we ask for?? :D Oh and I did drink a bit too much on Friday night and was a little hung over on Sat. morning- :(

My went fine. I had to DJ up north on friday night. Saturday me and my GF went shopping to another state because they have no taxes. I was going to get some cloths but I was picky with my money and they didn't have many good deals. Overall, it was a nice saturday evening with my girlfriend. On Sunday I was really tired so I just hung around the house all day. My weekend went pretty relaxing overall.

Awww- I bet they are so cute!!! We have one cat, and she has to sleep right on top of me--- no one else-- only me. I'm not even the one who feeds her or anything. Sometimes I wake up and she is laying right on my chest just inches from my face just staring at me. :eek:

we're both 17, I know still kids, but I have plans, I want to be married in 5 years, so i am looking for a LTR. I dont know If I want to stay with him or break it off because we aren't really goin steady. he's just all up in my face with the I love yous. :eek:

You first need to make a decision on what you want out of this relationship. Then, you after you need to make the right move on the direction you want. If you want to stay with him then you need to allow the relationship to grow. If you decide to move on then don't drag out the relationship because thats not fair to him.

You are still young and anything can happen. Its seems like you are not ready to settle and thats typical for someone your age. If you want to seek new ground then let it be known to him. The worse thing you can do is drap out this relationship if you don't want to be in it.

It was great! My walk was Sunday. I was out til 3am on Sat nite....... ugh....managed to walk my 6miles though.

Yeah- I wanted to just go take my money/ donations and drop it off then just leave. But I stayed and walked and it felt really good. It was a beautiful day. How was your weekend?

How was your weekend?


My weekend was ok but not the greatest.I couldn't hang out with Robin on Sunday because her back went out at work and took some FlexAll 454 at home.But my weekend was kind of relaxing.

We had 1/2 of a sunny day yesterday!!!!! The other 1/2 rained but I'm still excited over that one 1/2! Back to rain again today though. :(

I was beginning to think that it was about to become 40 days/40 nights type of deal with the rain....

This weekend wasn't a completed washout but had the same weather as you Calist. Sunday & today we had great weather to start and then the rain came in the afternoon.

I did my share of work thsi weekend and relaxed the remaining few days and now I feel great. :D

Tomorrow will be back to work and I'll make sure I have my thermus full of coffee.

I just got back home from visiting my friend up in Niskayuna(near Schnectady).I took Amtrak for 3 hours to get there and I had a lot of stuff to eat such as 2 days worth of pasta:lasanga,ziti with meatballs,Subway one day and Chinese food the next so I had my fill of food.We walked around,I went to my friend's regional meeting on Friday,talked to a lot of people,watched some movies,listened to music and had fun.A nice quiet county with not much stuff to do but it was worth the trip. :)
