I have been with my boyfriend for about a year now. We pretty much live together. He has two daughters with two different women with whom he was in serious relationships with (4 years and 2 years). I get incredibly jealous whenever he goes to a birthday or some event for one of his daughters, and I can't go because one of their mothers will cause a scene (both of who are somewhat older than I). I have never met his oldest daughter as she lives out of state, and I rarely see the one daughter who lives in our area. Should I be jealous or do I even have the right to be upset? We love each other, which is why I don't understand why I can't be in his daughters' lives.
