This may be a strange question but im currently in a mixed race relationship with a lady from Sri Lanka who is coloured. But indian coloured as supposed to african coloured if that makes any sense at all. She is darker though than most indians with beautiful brown eyes.
Obviously a strange question but im wondering what our kids would look like if we had any. Im as white as a ghost, i often see mixed white and black kids in Ireland but they are mixed Irish and African so its different with my girlfriend as weird as it sounds she may be coloured but she seems to have white features if that makes any sense at all. Shes from Sri Lanka so im not sure if thats because thats of different ethnicity to other coloured people.
Most of the mixed race irish kids of irish/african heritage have lighter skins than there coloured parent but other than that they seem to have predominantly black characteristics such as dark eyes, dark hair. They look more black than white, and with a lot of them you would not be able to tell if they have white irish parents when you see them.
Anyone have any idea what a mixed race White Irish and Dark Sri Lankan would look like?
