Hey thanks for looking!
I just put a pair of titanium rings on layaway for me and my bf. I love him very much and want to present the rings as a suprise on a warm summers day/night.
So what I need are some suggestions from both girls and guys on how to present it....I want it to be unique and creative...kind of a pre proposal. So...any ideas at all? Everything helps.
Cheers,
Calla ;)
Being that you're out in Colorado, why don't you both make plans to climb a mountain one warm summer night.
Make camp at around sunset. Pick a spot high enough that will enable you to look out over the valley's below and the other mountains in the distance.
Say to your BF that ........being up here makes one feel that they're on top of the world and can see forever. That being with him makes you feel like you're on top of the world and that you'd like to spend forever with him. :)
Then give him the rings and hit the sleeping bags for some outdoors fun. :D

Do you both have a special occasion coming up lika an Anniversary, trip, birthday, ect? Rich's advice was great about going to the mountains but you could plan a trip around the time of the special occasion and present the rings at the time.

i dont know if your looking for something romantic or creative but i have thought about this myself and came up with a scavanger hunt. on a piece of paper write down something telling him to meet you at a location where u had something special (a restaurant, or a park or something) cut it up in puzzle pieces and hide them all over wherever necessary leave clues to tell him where to find the next piece to the puzzle. when he finds them all he puts them together reads what it says follows directions and give him the ring...dont know if that sounds cheesy but i thought it would be fun and adventerous

I want promise rings for me and my bf, providing all goes well when I meet him. To show him I'm committed to him and him alone. But also don't want to rush into marriage either. Can I bring it up or would that be a bad thing?

I'd wait to bring this up......You need to build the foundation of a relationship first. The biggest mistake that one can make in a relationship is by rushing things. You still need to meet this guy who you haven't seen for quite sometime. Then you both need to allow things to build so you can make sure that you can handle a LDR and that the relationship is going in the direction that you want it to. Once that part is established then you should start thinking about commitment.

I have a question.What's the difference between a promise & a friendship ring?

Promise Ring~ is when you promise to be with the person forever.
Friendship Ring~ I am guessing when you are showing someone that their friendship means a lot to you.
