Tough situation with my girlfriend.

Ok, I will try to explain this in as short a post as possible.

Me and my girlfriend have been together for Four years. There has always been a power imbalance as I have been to university throughout our relationship whereas, as she is a little older, has a job. Therefore she holds all the financial strings. Anyway, we have split up a couple of times in the past but we are together right now.

Here is my current problem:

We split up recently, but have been together for the last few months. She plays an online game from about 6pm which is when she gets home from work until about 2 am - almost non-stop. I would estimate that she only has an hour break, and thats on a good day.

Now I'm not a demanding man - but I think I deserve a little more attention than I get. She tells me that she still loves and, sorry if this is too much information, but we are still very ually active.

I just want to know how I can get her attention back, as I know she still loves me.

I play the game too. I used to play it for 12 hours straight. Then coworkers were playing too and we would talk about it constantly. I tell you tho it has died off hugely. Most of us barley play now......her interest in the game will wear off just like us. Here's the deal, it's a very social game. So you need to be more proactive on date nights. Dinner and a movie....boring! Need to get into more social activities that involves being with lots of people. Have to think outside of the box. Get a group together and drink around a bonfire. Challenge her with rock climbing or head out in the bush on an ATV with another couple.

The reason people get into that stupid game is boredom. That's why it's so popular with the nerdy kids that don't have a social life irl. It's very easy to be popular and the chat in the game is so flirtatious. It can be like a meat market at times. The nerdy guys can easily find themselves a GF on there. It IS a very addictive game. Took me about 2 years of playing to get bored with it. I'm looking into getting an Xbox soon :P
