well, it's my first post...and I'm stuck in a dilemma.
i've been with my current boyfriend since april of this year. we get along great, and we care about each other alot. he's bailed my family and i out of some pretty tough spots, and generally speaking, he can be a real gentleman. we argue sometimes, and when we do, sometimes he raises his voice and shouts and gets in my face, but it's never gotten physical.
a couple of nights ago i was at his house, and we got into another fight over something ridiculous (he's always been crazy jealous over one of my guy friends, and he sent me a text while i was there. he looked through my phone while i was in the kitchen and saw the text). i started to leave because his temper was getting out of control. when i started for the door, he grabbed my arm really rough and spun me around to ask why i was leaving. I tried to shove him off of me and away from me and told him to get the off of me, and i guess he felt 'threatened', because he shoved me into a wall and started shaking me asking 'what the is wrong with you?'.
long story short, I cried, he let go, and I went home. Today I got a beautiful bouquet of roses delivered to me, and he came over to apologize profusely and swore he'd never push me again. my friends say he's an abuser and that I should get rid of him once and for all, but this is the first time he's EVER put his hands on me and other than this incident, he's been an amazing boyfriend.
