I was with a girl for 6 years and I was the love of her life, but she eventually broke up with me a few months ago because of a lack of initiative on my part. She had always been very patient with me in the past. She then moved several states away to live with her grandmother. Shortly after, she began dating someone and we would talk less frequently although she would never go more than 2 days without calling or texting me.
Well, recently (about 3 months after she left and 1/2-2 months after she started dating this guy) she has been calling me almost every night and wanting to talk 1-2 hours a night. She tends to talk about the things that she misses about me, and on more than one occasion expressed that she wished I was there with her. The talk has even gotten ual at times. She says that she feels guilty for talking to me being in a relationship, but that she doesn't care because she really enjoys it lately.
She will from time to time reiterate that she does really like her new boyfriend, but then she will also say frequently that he is not physically affectionate enough and that he lives far away and she only sees him a couple times a week, and even that he doesn't have much depth for conversation. She has also told me that he doesn't compare in the bedroom.
I will reiterate that she did break up with me 3 months ago already and that it is she who has been getting in touch with me lately and not the other way around. Am I to be under the impression that she is trying to hold on in case her new relationship doesn't work out? Is she missing me now that she is with someone else?
