I live in an apartment and there is this really cute girl that lives on the other side of the same building. The only time I see her is when she opens her mailbox, or when she is going to her car. We have exchanged smiles a couple times and that's about it. What will be the best way to approach her? Help this shy guy....

Next time you exchange a smile then add a "hello" to it. A "hello" can open up for a conversation but also allows you to get more comfortable with a possible approach to her sometime down the road....Goodluck
ps
hows that internet girl going? Are you both still talking?

Wow, I am surprised to see someone actually remembered that. We were talking about meeting up at a mall, but the day before, she told me that she had got back together with her ex-boyfriend.....

Thanks, but I think that's something I can do after having a couple conversations with her.
If you know what mailbox is hers, then leave a note on it or in it.
Along the lines of.....Hi, I live in Apt #? and I see you around sometimes. You take my breath away. If you aren't commited, I'd love to take you out for a cup of coffee or lunch. Here's my number if you're interested. Or if you're shy (:-)), you can drop a note in my mailbox. Then sign your name.
That's called casting a line into the water to see what bites.
Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Well I haven't seen her recently, but if something happens, I will post about it, of course.
