What can I do about my girlfriend's tendency to be a flirt? How am I supposed to react? Sometimes I just can't believe what she does. If I did anything like she does she would go absolutely nuts.
I try to make her realize the effect, like 'what if I was penpals with a former love interest? Imagine the inverse of this situation..' but she denys it and refuses to listen to anything I have to say (which she takes as personal insult to her character.) I try to speak up about it because the way she does it and goes about hurts. I just want to know her thoughts on what her reasons for some of this behavior might be. But every time I do she turns around what I'm saying and I end up getting flustered and mostly saying 'no! I didn't mean it like that! What I mean is..' Vicious circle.
