Friendship to Love

Is there a way to tell someone you've been friends with for a long time that you are in love with them. I want to try to advance things but I can't find the words to say and I don't know what the best way to do it is?

Any relationship worth it's weight has honesty and communication as part of its foundation.

Just be honest with your friend and see where it leads.

Think positively and not negatively. Hopefully you've seen some signs and have read the situation correctly to know if that person would be receptive to your advance.

Don't live in fear of rejection. Live in the possibility of love.

There are some positives and negatives that can happen here but if your willing to take the chance then don't hold your feelings back. The longer you hold them back the more you stand a chance she may get into a relationship with someone else and you'll lose out.

There ain't but one way to do it and that's to just come out and say it. If she shoots you down; you'll be okay after a while. Hell, if I had a dollar for every time I got shot down; I could take a woman out to dinner.
