Well today I hope I don't forget anything! We are getting ready to go for a week to Hilton Head island in South Carolina. :) I am so afraid I will forget my meds. The dr. gives me some meds that if I stop taking them abruptly I could have convulsions that is what I read on the warning at least, maybe they mean if you already have had them before taking meds stopping could cause you to have one?
I probably mis-spelled that. Anyway I do not have epilepsy (sp) but that is what the drugs are for. They are suppose to fool the brain into not feeling pain. They do work to a certain extent. When I first started taking them I was more clumsy then usual.
I have scars on my arms from burning myself getting stuff out of the oven and some grease burns. It didn't hurt, I could feel it but it didn't hurt me. When I have a lot of pain they do not help.
but anyway I think I better go put them in my purse :) I sure hope y'all had a good nights sleep. Ok now I am off to get ready for our little trip (after I drink a few more cups of strong coffee) I will check back later.

Missing one dose probably won't hurt much. Have a good trip and check in on us if you can. Hurricane Dennis might come straight through here, so I'll spend a good part of the weekend getting ready for the storm.

I'll be offline starting sometime tomorrow. I expect the storm to knock out the power. Of course, it'll knock out the cable first. If you sneeze too hard here, the cable goes out. The first feeder band has passed, but that was the cartoon, the movie starts tomorrow afternoon. I keep storm supplies stocked, so I should be okay. Hope it doesn't head your direction. If it stays on the projected path, the Eastern part of the storm will hit here.

I'll be alright. Probably spend the whole time fighting with my downstairs neighbor, she has a wicked right cross. Kiddding! We'll probably just play cards or something. We won't go hungry, lots of canned goods and fresh tomatoes. I keep storm supplies stocked and it shouldn't be that strong a storm when it gets here, so don't worry dear, I'll be okay.

I thought my mom had evacuated (she lives in Carrabelle, about fifty miles down the coast from Panama City). When Cuba knocked Dennis down to a Cat two, she decided there was nothing to worry about; now she has to be rescued from her home. My sister lives in Pensecola and my younger brother is probably somewhere in Florida. I don't know if they evacuated or not, but so far no bad news other than that about my mom. They are expecting hurricane force winds here, but probably just over 74 mph. I brought everything in that the wind could throw, bought a bag of ice and am just waiting now. I figure that the power will go out tonight, so y'all may not here from me tomorrow until late that night. Damn storms.

Hope all is well, I have to talk to my son and see what went on there. I guess lots of trees fell around where we live. My daughter talked to a friend last night and trees were falling around there last night

Everything okay on this end except that the power went out. It's back on now. If somebody sneezes too hard in this neighborhood, the power goes out. I haven't heard any more news on my family in Florida. I heard Atlanta got tornados out of Dennis. Now that's weird. The eye came a lot closer to us, but y'all got more tornados out of it.

Diablo, I am glad to hear you made it through ok. I can't imagine what it be like going through a storm like that but the pictures and video footage I saw explained it all.

I can't imagine going through a tropical storm like you go through in Florida.
All we have to worry about here in California is earthquakes. LOL

That's good. You can yank his chain by asking, "so how was the wild party?" If he's just halfway listening, he'll say "it was ok."

:) One of my fears is the shape my house will be in when we get home. The other is having to witness the fight that will happen between my husband and son!
He is a loner that is one of his problems, I am kind of that way too so he takes after me with that. Sooo he probably didn't have any wild parties but he most likely got high in the house. I can see the burns in the carpet now. =:0

You are right on that one. ;) I just wish the boy would answer the damn phone. I am worried about my dogs outside if he ended up getting high and staying somewhere. But yeah I won't worry it does no good. I have no ones phone # to call and check on the dogs sooo I just have to wait and hope all is well. I am so ready to go home.
