I'm hoping someone know's how to help me out. My boyfriend of one year is very hard to sleep with. He snores all night and I can't get him to stop! We bought a new bed, got strips for his nose, spray for his throat, and nothing has helped. Does anyone out there no of any cure, or something that he can take or do to stop it? Please help, any advice will be very appreciated!!! Thanks!!!

Hey again,
Can I ask - is your boyfriend overweight? My dad is a snorer but he has found there is a direct link between his weight (and general fittness) and snoring. The best advice I can give is to make him avoid too much alcohol before bed, get regular exercise and try to get into a sleep routine.
Snoring is bad not only for the poor partner but for the snorer - while you are snoring you are taking more shallow breaths which means you don't get quality sleep and can wake up tired and irritable.
Either that or buy some really quality earplugs (the waxy ones that fill your whole ear) - works for my mum. ;)

Thanks for the advice!!!
He is not overweight at all, got a little belly on him, but that is it! He smokes, so I think that could have something to do with it. He doesn't drink either. I want to get the ear plugs, but my only fear with that is that I won't hear my alarm for work. I get up at 5:20 M-F, and I know he won't hear it. I wake him up every morning. I have to do something, I am going on 4 hours of sleep a night, and thats all broken up, cause of him waking me up all night! :( It seems like he snores in every position he is in anymore. It used to be when he was on his back it was the worst.
But, thanks again for the advice. I hope all is well with you and your man. He needs to remember that he is in a relationship now, and that he needs to start thinking about you too, not just him! I can give you my e-mail address if you ever need to vent, just let me know. Talk to you soon! :p

hi there,
i did abit of research to help u out, and i found an article that i think would interest u since it has all the possible remidies of snoring. http://my.webmd.com/content/article/72/81845.htm i
think that it would be best for both of u if he visits an ENT doctor (ear, nose, throat), since it could seriously affect his health later on in life.
plus this is a product you could buy for him to wear when he's asleep http://www.nosnorezone.com/ good luck dear and do reply to let me know how it goes.
