Default This is hard..

First of all, this is my first post..

My name is Eugene, I am 17-years-old, I live in Pennsylvania and I am in love with a girl who lives in Texas.

We met through MySpace and I thought she was pretty cute so I gave her my phone number. She eventually started text messaging me and she took interest in me but I didn't because I just recently got out of a relationship.

After a while, I decided to give her a chance and that day on forward, I never looked back because I fell in love with her. She has an amazing personality, she's beautiful, she makes me smile all the time, she makes me feel comfortable with who I am and I feel like I can tell her everything.

It's only been about a month and a few days, I know it's quick to fall in love with someone but I think she's perfect for me. Eventually, we had stupid arguments sometimes that I didn't understand at all but that really didn't effect us but about a week ago something went wrong.. I don't know what it was but I felt like I couldn't make her happy anymore, she just seemed so dull all the sudden. I always ask her what's wrong? And she says nothing but I never thought it was nothing. Yesterday she told me she has feelings for her ex-boyfriend but she wants nothing to do with him. I was thinking it was because she never got to see me (Her ex-boyfriend lived nearby). I was upset but I love her say I let that slide. I called her last night and it was just really awkward, we barely spoke, it was mostly silence.

I really love her, I don't want to blame her but I think it's mostly her. I feel a connection where when I feel that she's not happy.. it makes me not happy and it all goes to hell. I try to keep a positive attitude but it's not working.

I really need advice.. but please don't tell me that it won't work so you should break up with her because that will never cross my mind, ever.

There is always a way for a problem to be solved.. and I think one of the solutions is being with her, but we're still kids.. I have no job, no car.. she has no job, no car but we're planning to see each other in the summer.

Its great to have a positive outlook and you should stay positive however if you keep hitting roadblocks then its time to make a u-turn.

It is wonderful you are being so open minded. Have you talked about meeting in person? I saw that you are only 17 but if you can maintain even a friendship for a while longer then you can meet and see where things go from there.

Online relationships have the potential to grow into something greater but ultimately the two of you are strangers behind a computer screen before you spend time together in person. No matter how well you've connected over the phone or the 'net, you still don't know each other physically in person. Considering the fact that more than 93% of communication is non-verbal, it would not be unfair to say that the depth of your relationship and her investment in it is not in the nature of the love you wish it to be.

You are young and have many lessons/loves to conquer. I would encourage you to not take this girl too seriously as women experience "love" very differently than men and it is quite probable she is in love with the idea of love...which would not be promising for your future with her.
